11th Australasian Natural Hazards Management Conference

Bushfire and Natural Hazards CRC research was showcased in New Zealand at the Australasian Natural Hazards Management Conference in late May and early June. 

A joint Australia-New Zealand pre-conference workshop was held on 29 May covering communications, warnings and engagement research from both countries.

It was New Zealand's turn to host the conference, which was held in partnership with the NZ National Emergency Management Conference. The conference focused on providing relevant insight, advice and discussion that will be both engaging and helpful to emergency management professionals. Speakers included Mark McCrindle, Holly Ransom and Mark Crosweller.
