After considering the evolving situation with the current COVID-19 pandemic situation, the Bushfire and Natural Hazards CRC has decided to postpone the upcoming Emergency Management in Australia's Remote Northern Communities forum, scheduled to be held in Darwin on 1 April. This is unfortunate, however it is prudent to proceed cautiously in this dynamic climate with the chief concern of the CRC being the health of all those who would have attended.
The Bushfire and Natural Hazards CRC will host a forum in Darwin outlining the connections between the national and the local developments in research and emergency management, plus a workshop to consider the issues in the specific contexts of the Northern Territory, Queensland and Western Australia. Both of these events have now been postponed.
