The launch of the Australian Seasonal Bushfire Outlook 2019 was hosted by Bushfire and Natural Hazards CRC CEO Dr Richard Thornton at AFAC19 in Melbourne on 28 August 2019. Fire chiefs, commissioners and the Bureau of Meteorology gathered to discuss the areas of their respective states with above average fire potential during the summer's bushfire season.
