News from the CRC
CRC research papers have been made available this month.
Dr Khalid Moinuddin, Sesa Singha Ray, Duncan Sutherland and Nazmul Khan from the Fire spread prediction across fuel types project have published their paper online with the Bushfire and Natural Hazards CRC. The paper investigates the physics-based models that can improve wind field generation and discusses how this modelling can make fire forecasting faster and easier.
Researchers from the Urban planning for natural hazard mitigation project have published their paper on how to integrate urban planning and emergency management. The report analyses the characteristics and distribution of people in the future and assesses how these factors can impact the outcomes of planning into the future.
Don’t forget that the individual papers from AFAC18 powered by INTERSHUTZ have been made available online.
