Your views on catastrophic disasters needed

What is the involvement of not-for-profit and community service organisations in disaster management? Survey participants are required to help inform research. If you are involved in a not-for-profit or community service organisation, your views are needed.

The research team aims to better understand the extent of involvement of not-for-profit and community service sector organisations in disaster management. Those who work in the community sector, in particular, are encouraged to share their experiences to inspire new ways of building resilient communities.

The survey is being conducted as part of the Bushfire and Natural Hazards CRC project Catastrophic and cascading events: planning and capability, conducted by Risk Frontiers and Macquarie University.

The research will assist government organisations to enhance partnerships with not-for-profit and community sector organisations to better prepare for major to catastrophic disasters and, ultimately, enhance resilience.
