A full time, fixed term position to 30 June 2021, the Communications Officer will work within the communications team to translate and promote the CRC research program across a range of communications and public relations functions, as well as promote the CRC through the production of media and marketing products and other communications and events activities.
Key responsibilities will include:
Writing and editing science content across a wide range of channels
Assist with media liaison
Create, source, curate, monitor and track CRC social media
Assist with engaging visual content for print, social media and web channels
Photography and videography
Website and database maintenance
Event support
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone tertiary qualified with excellent written communication skills. The successful candidate will be flexible and adaptable with a high attention to detail and capacity to meet deadlines in order to deliver quality outcomes. Working in a small team, the incumbent must be multi-skilled, proactive and creative and can work autonomously using significant initiative across a range of responsibilities. Three to five years experience is desirable.
