This full time position is a newly created and important role for the efficient and effective administration of the CRC research program. As a member of the research and utilisation team, the Research Program Support Officer will support the efficient development, implementation and management of research projects in our research program. This includes utilisation elements for each project, and playing a role in ensuring that outputs meet the needs of project end-users. The Research Program Support Officer will also participate in other contract research management and utilisation projects.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience across a range of support functions. Ideally tertiary qualified, preferably in an area relevant to natural hazards and/or emergency management (or with equivalent work experience), the successful candidate will have at least two years experience in a similar or related role, and will be highly organised with the capacity to meet deadlines in order to deliver quality outcomes. Knowledge of the workings of universities or research agencies would be highly regarded.
