Disasters and economic resilience: the effects of the Queensland Floods 2010–11 on individual income: A case study on the Brisbane River catchment areaestimates the impact of the 2010–11 riverine flooding on individual income in four local government areas (LGAs) in the Brisbane River catchment area.
The research focused on two key points: the effects of the floods on the income streams of individuals, and how the government’s relief and recovery programs assisted individuals to return to their normal income trajectory.
