Heatwave and building codes in NSW

More people die from heatwaves in Australia than any other natural hazard. A study of past heat-related fatalities has found that a building's design and construction is a significant factor affecting peoples' chances of surviving a heatwave. And, the key to addressing these risks lies in updating the National Building Code of Australia.
