The July 2017 Australian Journal of Emergency Management is now online
This issue looks at at a range of research and activities in hazards and emergency management including an emphasis on international experiences in psychosocial recovery. After the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, the 2011 Christchurch earthquake and the 2015 Paris terror attacks, people came together to share their collective suffering. From these events, there are lessons Australians can learn to improve post disaster support programs.
This issue of the Journal also introduces the Monograph series. The series begins with a look at standards for higher education providers in disaster management. And don’t forget, between the quarterly editions of the Journal you can head to the Knowledge Hub to find timely and relevant monographs in disaster resilience.
