The next round of funding is available for the CRC’s Tactical Research Fund, established to support short-duration research projects to meet the near term needs of Bushfire and Natural Hazards CRC partners.
The fund will support projects that address short-term issues for the sector and have national significance. Applications must be made by end-user partners of the CRC.
The second round of short-term projects was recently announced with three new projects set to commence. Research continues on the first round of projects funded through the Tactical Research Fund.
Applications for the third round of the funding are now open and will close on 28 February 2018. Up to $250,000 is available.
Project proposals can be extensions of existing research projects and represent continuations of previously funded CRC projects, or represent new research initiatives, including scoping studies, synthesis studies and literature reviews. They can also support utilisation activities, with a preference for CRC project utilisation.
Outcomes of projects must be made available to all CRC partners, and should published on the CRC website.
