To help quantify the value delivered by the Bushfire and Natural Hazards CRC, SGS Economics and Planning (SGS) have been commissioned to explore the impact of the CRC. As part of this study, the unique insights of all CRC end-users and select researchers will be sought via an online survey. An email invitation to partake in the survey will be sent out in the coming days from CRC CEO Dr Richard Thornton.
The survey aims to understand individual perspectives regarding:
key challenges related to natural hazards
current and potential solutions for overcoming these challenges
the CRC’s contribution in developing these solutions
past and current examples of CRC research use and impact
the value your organisation has gained from the networks and collaborative nature of the CRC
This survey will take around 15-20 minutes to complete and depending on the answers given (and willingness to participate), SGS may contact individuals to follow up on additional details for specific case studies.
As the CRC is in its final 18 months in its current form, quantifying the impact of our research and other outcomes since 2013 is essential. The insights of end-users and researchers are appreciated; thank you in advance for contributing to this important work.
