I have now been at the CRC for a few months and met many of you during that time. And now it is time for my debut blog.
In recent weeks we have been conducting the first of our Project Huddles for our end users. The Huddles have been an opportunity for end users to let us know what is working well so far; what challenges are being faced and how we at the CRC can assist. We have also been fertilising the seeds of utilisation!
We have huddled so far in the ACT, NSW, WA and SA, and I would like to once again thank the end users in these states who were able to attend and provide us with their input. Our research is nothing without end user input, after all, you are the people who will champion uptake within your organisations. Details of the Huddle outputs will be circulated to participants.
For me, it has been great to hear that many projects are thriving on all levels. The main message for me is that face to face interaction between end users and researchers, such as at our annual conference and RAF, along with regular teleconferences, are important connecting points.
End users in Victoria, Tasmania and Queensland – your chance to huddle with us and provide your feedback is coming soon. We will be in touch soon with dates in early 2015.
