Dr Patrick Reis Santos
Dr Reis-Santos is a Post-doctoral researcher at Gillanders Aquatic Ecology. He is a broadly trained marine ecologist with multiple interdisciplinary interests, and over 10 years of experience in estuarine fish ecology and environmental contamination. His interests include evaluating connectivity, the nursery role of estuarine and coastal habitats, exploring the versatile applications of otolith chemistry, and assessing environmental contamination and the effects of emerging contaminants.
Project leadership
This project was completed with the support of the CRC's funding for quick response. It evaluted the immediate and longer-term impacts of bushfires on estuarine water quality and its implications to estuarine fish.
