At AFAC18 speakers explored how the emergency management sector is changing for the better, in terms of authentic leadership, diversity, mental health and wellbeing. CRC researcher Celeste Young from Victoria University explained how a challenge for the sector is creating a new narrative for the future, around what the new diverse workforce and diversity of tasks look like for that organisation.
