This year the conference is in Melbourne from 27-30 August at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, with the theme 'A shift to the new norm: riding the wave of change'. The conference will begin with the Bushfire and Natural Hazards CRC Research Forum, followed by a six-stream concurrent program. For the first time, AFAC19 will be held together with the Institution of Fire Engineers Australia Conference and the Australian Disaster Resilience Conference, providing more opportunities for networking and knowledge exchange in the largest exhibition to date.
